This is really beautiful work by the whole team, Devin. Professional, concise, script that allows the art and lettering to do their work.. really. Permission to share on socials?

Congratulations Devin on the completion of this project! I'm so glad you were able to carry it through with this excellent team, the final product really hits home the dehumanization of exploitative labor that you were aiming for. The comic definitely leaves me eager for more, and makes me want to check out the short story that partially inspired you in exploring these themes.

Thanks, Devon! I think I really tapped into something universal, I’ve had everyone from construction workers to telemarketers tell me they can relate to this. I found the short story “Forelesen” in this collection, it includes an essay by the author about how he was inspired by people who seemed to live “the same day over and over”:

Stunning, Devin.

I really like it. Thanks so much for sharing.

As a one-pager, it really excels, plus the artwork, colour palette, lettering etc is spot on. I'd gladly read more in this style.
